The Prices below, are the same for both the MILLRACE area

It is important to note, I have no financial links with the Caravan & Motorhome Club, therefore I'm unable to accept payment with any vouchers that may be issued by the Caravan & Motorhome club.

BANK HOLIDAYS:-
I have a nightly Supplement fee of £5 for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Bank Holiday weekends. (No supplement for Christmas & New Year).
Please, if you book a period which includes a Bank Holiday weekend, you must be prepared to pay this nightly Bank Holiday Supplement.
Riverside has a natural cultural attraction for longer stays, therefore for Bank Holiday periods/weekends, (to prevent blockage by short (2/3 day) stays) I have a minimum stay period policy for Bank Holidays, (excluding Christmas & New Year). "You simply just need to ask your boss for more time off"

I will accept your booking in good faith, (without taking a deposit) that you are making a commitment to the arrival and departure dates you state to me when placing the booking. You will be liable to a charge for the full duration of your pre-booked stay if it is cancelled in part or full without sufficient warning, within the 7 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival or during your stay.

Pitch Allocation
On Arrival, it is important that you read the pitching instruction signage on the welcome board just outside the main entrance, and on your allotted pitch.
A suitable pitch according to the size of your unit will have been allocated for you.
On your day of arrival your allotted pitch number will be displayed alongside your name on the welcome board just outside the main entrance. Also a reserved sign will be placed on your allotted pitch bearing your name. _________________________________________________
Large outfits
I have no problems with large units, (twin axle or 8 mtrs +) which are very welcome. The only problem I have is that not all my pitches are large enough for a twin axle or extremely large unit.
I have therefore adopted the system of allotting a large enough pitch at the booking stage, (on a first to book basis).
If you do have a large outfit exceeding 8 mtrs, (26ft) it is important that you are aware of the £2 nightly supplement which will be payable during your stay. Your sincerity and loyalty is essential, and it is extremely important that you reveal to me that you have a twin axle or large outfit, at the time of placing the booking.
This charge covers my attendance, organizing and usually having to reserve a pitch with suitable ease of access and ground area, sadly sometimes involving the pitch to be untenanted on the run-up to your arrival day . It also contributes towards the obvious larger internal area, (usually from our previous experience) resulting in more costs to me.
The minimal nightly supplementary charge of £2 should be added to the standard nightly pitch fee, for Large Outfits, twin axle caravans and motor homes of a length exceeding 25ft, (7.5mtrs). _____________________________________________

Short notice Cancellations
If a pre-booked stay with me is cancelled at short notice, ( "within 7 days of the pre-booked arrival date" ) or terminated prematurely during your stay without sufficient warning, before the arranged departure date, ("for what-ever reason" and especially the weather) I reserve the right to charge the full rate for each night of un-attendance for the pitch, for which I have made a loyal commitment in your name. Also, no refund for the period of un-attendance will be given.

The Balance payment is due on the day of your arrival, but it s important that you firstly get set-up on your pitch with a well earned brew after your journey to Riverside.
"I NEVER COME AND ASK YOU FOR PAYMENT" on the day of arrival, but gratefully request that you follow my instructions on how to use the envelope payment system, which I have used since I opened in 1997. It works very efficiently, with benefits to both you, and me, as a time saver. You can concentrate on getting-on with your well-earned holiday, and I can concentrate on doing the physical parts of looking after the park.

Things regulary enquired about
NO Tents
We no longer take Tents or Trailer-Tents.
However, folding, and ridged sided pop-up Caravans, plus Free-Standing-Tents accompanying a Caravan or Motorhome are welcome.

Fishing, (but not serious)
You are very welcome to try your hand at the (free) fishing for the Brown Trout from our stretch of riverbank during your stay, BUT please do not base your stay at Riverside, with the hope of the river being a serious fishing venue, as it's not, and you will be disappointed.
Also, because of previous bad experiences, we are reluctant to take bookings from "clubs" and "groups" of fishermen, who tend to disturb the peaceful nature of the site.

No Seasonal Pitches
You are very welcome to have a stay at Riverside for a maximum of 28 nights, on the same pitch without rotation.
We have NO "Seasonal Pitches" (minimum or un-occupied Caravan or Motorhome).

No Storage
We have NO Caravan Storage Pitches or Storage Facilities. ________________________________________________
WE DO HAVE TO WONDER WHY THE MANY SO-CALLED "PUB STOPOVERS" ARE BEING ALLOWED TO USE THEIR CAR PARKS AS AN OVERNIGHT STAY for Motor homes.
Approved Sites have to adhere to stringent spacing, health/safety/sanitary rules.
The Pub Car parks have NON of these stringent spacing, safety and sanitary measures in place.
"Nor do they undergo any form of inspection by any authority".

(But we "DO" have 10amp Electric Hookups on all Pitches)

Un-loyal clients who pre-book but just don't turn up on the Scheduled day of arrival without any form of notification will be asked to pay the full amount for the pre-booked stay which we have faithfully reserved for them, and their details will be logged into a register which shows they have been un-loyal to us.
